교육목표 (Educational Goals)
Spiritual Practice (1 Cor. 9:24-25) –
To maintain our body healthy, we should feed our physical
bodies with good food. The same goes for our spiritual
bodies. When we fill our minds and hearts with the Word of
God, we will be spiritually healthy. But if we eat a lot and
don’t exercise, we will also become unhealthy. We should
exercise spiritually by practicing what we learn from God’s
Word so that we will become spiritually unhealthy. Thus, the
goal of our elementary ministry is to help children to learn
the Word of God and practice what they learn in their lives
through spiritual discipline and so make them to live
spiritually healthy life. For this, we have the following
specific goals:
영적 훈련 (고전 9:24-25) – 우리 몸의 건강을 위해 우리는 좋은 음식을 먹어야 합니다. 영적인 몸도
마찬가지입니다. 우리의 정신과 마음을 하나님의 말씀으로 채울 때, 우리는 영적으로 건강해집니다. 그러나 많이
먹고 운동을 하지 않으면 역시 건강해 지지 않습니다. 영적 건강을 위해, 배운 하나님의 말씀을 실천하는 영적
운동을 해야 합니다. 따라서, 유초등부의 교육 목표는 어린이들이 하나님의 말씀을 배우는데 그치는 것이
아니라, 배운 말씀을 영적 훈련을 통해 삶 가운데 실천하도록 도와, 어린이들이 영적으로 건강한 삶을 살도록
하는 것입니다. 이를 위해 다음과 같은 세부 목적들이 있습니다.

ministry, the children will
유초등부 사역을 통해, 어린이들은
1. Cultivate a true heart of worship
within them (Rom. 12:1-2)
진심으로 예배하는 마음을 키울 것입니다.
2. Learn Christ-like humility – serving God by serving
others (Phil. 2:1-11; 2:14)
다른 사람을 섬김으로 하나님을 섬기는, 예수님과 같은 겸손함을 배울 것 입니다.
3. Learn contentment, thankfulness, and joy in Christ as
opposed to materialism (Matt. 6:19-21).
물질만능주의에 반하여 예수 그리스도 안에서 만족함, 감사함, 기쁨을 배울 것입니다.
4. Learn not to judge others, but to love them (Matt. 7:1-5)
다른 사람을 판단하지 않고, 오히려 사랑하는 법을 배울 것입니다.
5. Learn how to stand up under temptation (1 Cor. 10:2)
시험을 이기는 법을 배울 것입니다.
